Neil studied at Oxford and London universities. He holds degrees in mathematics, philosophy, statistics and computer science and has taught at The Manchester Grammar School for almost 40 years. Neil is also chief examiner in mathematics for OCR, has worked extensively with MEI and is a Chartered Statistician and Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. He has been an RSS Guy Lecturer since 2007.
